Cape Coast, April 24, GNA - Ms. Mercy Arhin, Cape Coast Metropolitan Chief Executive on Wednesday made a personal donation of GHc1,000 to Cape Coast Venomous Vipers Football Club. Making the presentation, Ms. Arhin, said she was an ardent supporter of the club and hoped the donation would assist the club in its campaign to return to the elite division of Ghana soccer.
Cape Coast, April 24, GNA - Ms. Mercy Arhin, Cape Coast Metropolitan Chief Executive on Wednesday made a personal donation of GHc1,000 to Cape Coast Venomous Vipers Football Club. Making the presentation, Ms. Arhin, said she was an ardent supporter of the club and hoped the donation would assist the club in its campaign to return to the elite division of Ghana soccer. Mr. Kweku Tandoh, chairman of the club thanked Ms. Arhin for the gesture and appealed to supporters of the club to emulate the Metropolitan Chief Executive. Mr. Tandoh disclosed that the club would soon be registered as a limited liability company to give would-be shareholders the opportunity to participate in its administration. He said, the club when registered, would float shares and appealed to supporters, both home and abroad, to patronize the shares. The chairman said Vipers would need GHc100,000 for its participation in the regional division two league and appealed to supporters to donate generously to the club.
