Ghana legend Michael Essien has lauded Ghanaian kid Callum Hudson Odoi for winning the 2017 FIFA World Cup final with England.
Hudson Odoi was a key member of the England U17 side who rallied from two goals down to win 5-2 in regulation time.
Essien posted on Instagram: ''Congratulations little bro @calteck10 for winning the U17s world cup with @England well done boy keep up the hard work I'm proud of you.''
The London-born plays for Essien's former club Chelsea.
He is an attacking player who joined the club during his Under-8 year and has regularly been a scorer and creator of goals throughout his schoolboy years. He is a very talented, skilful individual who can play in any of the attacking positions.
A regular with our youth team last season, he played a key role in our Treble-winning success, including goals in the fifth round, semi-final and final of the Youth Cup.
