Michael Scarf gets Napoli first team promotion

Italian Serie A side Napoli have promoted Ghanaian youngster Michael Scarf to the senior team.

The 18-year-old left-back has been in blistering form for the Napoli Primavera and has been drafted into Maurizio Sarri’s side to continue his progression.

Scarf was on the bench on Sunday as Napoli went away to beat Udinese by a lone goal to nothing at the Stadio Fruili.

Touted as the future of Gli Azzuri’s, Scarf who was born to Ghanaian parents in Accra on May 10, 1999 has featured fifteen times for the Napoli Under 19 team scoring once.
