Michel Pont arrives for Black Stars coaching job interview

Michel Pont has arrived in Ghana to be interviewed for the vacant Black Stars coaching job, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The Swiss man will face a panel headed by Ghana FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi on Friday in Accra.

He was assistant coach to Ottmar Hitzfield in-charge of the Switzerland national team at the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals in Brazil.

Pont was scheduled to be interviewed alongside Italian and current Watford manager Marco Tardelli who will not be present.

Former Chelsea manager Avram Grant and Juan Ignacio Jimenez will be interviewed on 18 October.
