Midfielder Gockel Ahortor wants to become a free kick expert

Inter Allies player Gockel Ahortor says he is looking forward to improving on his set pieces as the season gets to its climax.

Ahortor has scored four free kicks out of five goals this term in a very challenging season for his side.

In an interview with the club’s website Ahortor said: “Every player has been blessed with a technique, some score goals easily, some pass very well, and others deliver crosses well, etc… but I want to be a free kick expert”.

“You must work hard with more practices, concentration and focus on what you are trying to do to be able to do it well and that’s exactly what I’m doing now,” he added.

He was called into the local Black Stars team that played in Japan in a friendly match.
