This year’s Accra Milo Marathon champions, David Zigah and Millicent Boadi left Ghana on Thursday night aboard a K.L.M flight to the Netherlands where they will participate in the Amsterdam Marathon on Sunday. The trip forms part of their prize for winning the men and women’s Milo Marathon last month.
This year’s Accra Milo Marathon champions, David Zigah and Millicent Boadi left Ghana on Thursday night aboard a K.L.M flight to the Netherlands where they will participate in the Amsterdam Marathon on Sunday. The trip forms part of their prize for winning the men and women’s Milo Marathon last month. David Zigah told Harry Odamtten of Joy Sports that they were mentally and physically prepared for their first international marathon. He says they are keen to impress the Dutch and Ghanaian populace and have therefore targeted the first ten positions in the marathon.
