Black Stars attacking midfielder, Mohammed Kudus, recently visited and donated to the St. Nicholas Charity Preparatory School in Tema Newtown to inspire students with messages about the importance of education and perseverance.

Kudus, who was honoured as Footballer of the Year at the Ghana Football Awards for the second consecutive time, chose the school for his first post-award engagement, reflecting his dedication to uplifting underprivileged communities.

Founded in 2012 by the St. Nicholas Charity Foundation, the school serves the Bankuman area, where many parents are fisherfolk facing financial challenges. It provides free education, uniforms, school supplies, and two meals daily to its 208 students, from crèche to junior high school.

Sharing his personal journey, Kudus encouraged the students to prioritize education and dream big.

"I understand the challenges you face because I faced them too. Education is your key to a better future. Stay focused and work hard, and you can achieve anything," he emphasized.

The visit, facilitated by Dr. Prince Kofi Pambo, included basketball and football exhibitions, allowing Kudus to interact closely with the children. Dr. Pambo praised Kudus for being a beacon of hope and inspiration, especially to children from similar backgrounds.

Ivan Quashigah, CEO of Farmhouse Productions and a trustee of the school, expressed gratitude for Kudus' visit, noting its profound impact on the students.
