Asante Kotoko is set to let go of 15 players following the end of the 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League season.
According to a list released by GHANASoccernet, the club will part ways with some notable players like Steven Mukwala, Richmond Lamptey, Danlad Ibrahim, and Isaac Oppong.
Mukwala finished the current campaign as the club's top scorer. The Ugandan has refused to extend his deal and thus his departure is imminent.
In the same vein, Danland Ibrahim, Richmond Lamptey, and Issac Oppong have all run out of contract.
Kotoko had one of their worst seasons in recent years losing six consecutive matches at some point, matching their worst record in 14 years.
The Porcupine Warriors finished 6th with 49 points, winning 14, losing 13 and drawing 7 matches.
