Ghana midfielder Muniru Sulley believes his Romanian side CFR Cluj will eliminate Jagodina despite drawing 0-0 in the first leg of their Europa League second qualifying round at home on Thursday night.
The 21-year-old put up a man-of-the-match performance and lasted the entire duration at the Stadionul Dr. Constantin.
Cluj monopolized possession but could not find the back of the net leaving the return leg at the Gradski Stadion next week wide open.
“All we need to do is to score in Serbia and that will be all,” Muniru told Africanfootball.com. “A scoring draw can take us through so I’m confident.”
“They (Jagodina) played well but I think we have the upper hand now.
“For me, I was happy with my performance because it was one of my best games for the club since I came here.”
Sulley made 12 appearances for CFR Cluj last season after an injury-hampered campaign.
