AC Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari has said he is fit enough to play against Ajax Amsterdam in the Uefa Champions League on Wednesday.
The San Siro outfit stands a chance to make it to the knockout stages of the elite inter-club competition of Europe with a draw, while the Dutch side ought to win to make it to the second spot of the group.
The Ghana international, who is returning from injury, has stated he is poised for the clash.
“I feel good and I’m training with the team. I’m ready for Ajax. I’ve been training all of last week and I did the whole session today with no problems,” Muntari told reporters.
“All the games we play, we prepare in the same way so there’s no difference between the league matches and the Champions League. We’re doing well in Europe and not so well in the league but we shouldn’t focus on the negatives and just continue with the work we’re doing.
“The [Milan] fans shouldn’t worry, it’s Ajax who should be worried as we want to get through to the next round in front of our fans and not disappoint them. It’s an important match and we’ll do everything to get through to the next round.”?
