Ghana midfielder, Sulley Ali Muntari has tipped Kumasi Asante Kotoko to win the 2012/ 2013 Ghana premier league title.
Kotoko and Chelsea are involved in a very close race for the crown going into the final round of matches on Sunday.
A win for either side will lead to a play-off to determine the champions since they are tied on 53 points, and at the same time inseparable on the head-to-head rule.
However, a champion will be known on Sunday if one of them fail to pick all three points while the other is able to go through unscathed.
Muntari, a childhood fan of the Porcupine Warriors believes the Kumasi based club are set to retain their title.
"All I know is Kotoko is going to win the league this weekend, they have been doing well this season and I think with the consistency and their strong mentality, they are going to win," the former Liberty Professionals player told Goal Ghana.
Muntari went ahead to add his voice to head-to-head debate.
"I don't know why the PLB won't give the cup to Kotoko if they win because they have a greater goal difference.
“I think it is something they have to take a second look at.
"But I trust in the boys to deliver and Kotoko will be winners after the final matches,” the 28-year-old added.
Kotoko will play as guests to Amidaus Professionals while Berekum Chelsea will also be travelling to Kpando to face Heart of Lions.
