Ghana International Sulley Muntari believes the current crop of Black Star players can end the barren run of the senior national team in terms of winning trophies.

Speaking on an Accra based Starr FM, Muntari said, “We have great young players who are amazing, Dede, Jordan, Agyemang, Atsu, Wakasu and Rabiu. When you put them together and you get the experience players with them, you will form a strong team..

“You can get a bad little kid or a strong headed kid in, but you will know how to treat him. When you know he is stubborn, you will know how to handle him

“You have to get time for those things. If you don’t have time for those things and think about yourself, definitely things are not going to go well. You will keep on repeating same thing every day.

“In every tournament, you will play five matches and then you are out for the sixth game. You will then keep saying spiritual this or that. Put the things together and hold them tight and they win trophies for you every day”

Sulley Muntari recently ended his association with AC Milan and is reported to be seeking a move to either the gulf region or the MLS.
