Ghana star Sulley Muntari has reiterated his desire to return in the national colours once he sorts out his club future and starts playing again.

The 32-year-old just completed a one-season spell with Pescara who got relegated from the Serie ‘A’ and has decided to move on.

He is however on an indefinite suspension from the national team following a fracas with a management member at the 2014 Fifa World Cup camp when he was expelled from camp together with Kevin-Prince Boateng exactly three years ago [June 26].

Muntari recently admitted he was yet to meet again or speak to returnee Black Stars coach Kwasi Appiah since the incident but days after the confession, the midfielder has got audience with the trainer.

“I am not yet retired even though I have been out of the Ghana Black Stars team for a long time. I am ready to work out with my new club and get recalled.

“A couple of days ago I spoke with the manager [Kwasi] Appiah and we talked about my future,” Muntari revealed while addressing the press during a visit to Kampala with his former AC Milan teammate Keisuke Honda over the weekend.

Last year, Sulley Muntari, in a letter, officially apologized for the incident which resulted into his indefinite suspension from the national team but the Ghana FA is yet to give any indication of lifting the ban.
