Sulley Muntari claims a lot of the things that have been said about him are untrue after he missed Ghana’s two World Cup qualifiers in June.
The Inter Milan midfielder became public enemy number one after he played 90 minutes for his club, then pulled out from two Black Stars games against Mali and Sudan citing an injury which the GFA says was backed by a medical report.
But the player was still heavily criticised in the local media and accused of not being committed enough.
Now he says he is fit and ready for the new season but appears hurt by the episode.
"I can say I am fit now and can't say more please. You the media say things that are not true and I refuse to comment," he said.
