Inter Milan boss Leonardo insists Ghanaian international Sulley Muntari will not leave the reigning European champions in the current transfer window.

The Ghanaian midfielder has reportedly put in a transfer request alerting suitors like Everton, Sunderland, Tottenham and Sevilla in the Spanish top flight to his availability.

But Leonardo insist the club will only do a deal if they can find a replacement and even then reckons it is not the time to discuss the departure of a player he stil claims is an important member of the Inter squad.

"I think that if someone were to leave then a replacement would come in, like with Samuel and Ranocchia. But I repeat, now is not the time to be thinking about that."

"But I repeat, now is not the time to be thinking about that. At the moment Muntari is available and he's in good shape, so there's no need to think about the transfer market," he concluded.

Muntari has struggled with form and disciplinary problems at Inter and only last week reportedly had a bust-up with the coach after he was substituted in a Coppa Italia game.
