Muntari suffers muscle injury,

Ghana’s AC Milan winger Sulley Muntari has sustained an injury in training at the Milanello on Monday afternoon, DailySoccerGhana.com sources have revealed.

The former Inter and Udinese midfielder suffered a muscle problem in his left calf and will be assessed on Tuesday to evaluate the full extent of the injury.

The setback means the 30-year-old will miss AC Milan’s Coppa Italia clash against Sassuolo.

Aside enduring his injury blow, Muntari is also expected to be fined by AC Milan after he threw away his Rossoneri shirt and sat on the bench following his substitution in the Serie A clash with Torino last Saturday.
