Inter Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari says that he is determined to stay with the Serie A giants.

The 26-year-old had been strongly linked with a move away from the UEFA Champions League winners after falling behind the likes of Thiago Motta in manager Rafael Benitez's thoughts.

However, the former Portsmouth player insists that he has no wish to leave the club and is determined to win back his place in the side . He told reporters that: “I am with Inter, I want to stay with Inter. I have a contract with Inter and I am going to be there. I just train every day and concentrate. I know that my time will come surely and I will make it. Whatever comes your way have to take it like that. I just hope that everything will be fine. It’s a big club but at least things are getting better. Everything that comes your way is part of life."

The Ghana international has featured in six of Inter's 12 Serie A matches this season, with all of those appearances coming from the bench. He has also netted one goal this term, the winner in the 1-0 victory over Genoa on 29 October. Muntari made 27 appearances in the League under Jose Mourinho last season as Inter won their fifth Scudetto in a row. He played in nine games of the successful Champions League run last term and also helped Inter lift the Italian Cup in an historic treble-winning campaign.

However, Inter are struggling this year under former Liverpool boss Benitez as they have won just five and drawn five of their league matches to pick up 20 points. They are currently sitting in fifth place in the table, six points behind leaders and fierce rivals AC Milan.
