Crocked St. Gallen ace Musah Nuhu has sent an inspirational message of support to the Ghana squad ahead of tonight’s opening Group F game against Benin.
Switzerland based centre-back was initially part of Kwesi Appiah’s 29-man provisional list for the continent’s flagship competition.
But he was forced out of the Black Stars squad after picking up an injury while with the team in Dubai.
Despite the disappointment of missing out on representing his country at the prestigious tournament, Nuhu has backed his teammates to succeed in Egypt in a heartwarming post on his Instagram page;
”A football match is as important as any other challenges in life,the heat is on and the challenging matches are about to begin.My wish was to be part of this dream but fate decides what it is to life. I am confident that you all will play to the best of your strengths and skills. And also certain that this team will succeed in raising the trophy.So pull up your socks and get ready for a lovely tournament. Best of luck to the BLACKSTARS OF GHANA ????????“ Nuhu wrote.
The match will be played at the Ismailia Stadium at 8pm after the Group opener between Cameroon and Guinea Bissau.
