Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Teye Partey
Thomas Partey’s father, Jacob Partey has revealed what is doing the magic for his son at Atletico Madrid.
The diminutive midfielder has become a transfer target for several European clubs following his scintillating performance with the Rojiblancos for some time now.
It has emerged that, Premiership giants Arsenal has shown interest to sign Thomas Partey and remains their number one target for Coach Mikel Arteta.
Speaking to Bryt FM, Jacob Partey attributed his son’s performance to his hustle a couple years ago.
“I have trained my son very well and by God’s grace things are getting better. I didn’t have any investment and the truth is that, I was a big time hustler. He knows how I have struggled back then and so when he is on the pitch, he do his best”
“I really struggled before I projected him to where he is now. Whenever he remember my struggle, he performs better.” he told Sylvester Ntim of Bryt FM.
