As predicted by many, it is the dream and wish of every true Ghanaian soccer fan to see the Black Stars make several headlines during year's World Cup as we seek to be among the last four in this year's competition considering the fact that the event is taking place on African soil for the first time coupled with the excellent support we will be enjoying.

It is in this regard that I will like give you my starting eleven players for our opening game against Serbia on June 13th as we seek to make another history during our second successive appearance at the World Cup.

Judging from the fact that the World Cup is a top level competition and the most prestigious competition on FIFA's calendar, it requires a lot experience and exposure to make an impact

Winning the first game places a team in very good position to qualify for the second.

For this reason the first eleven in our first match must be our best so that we can win that all important first match to serve as a morale booster for possible qualification for the second round

With the promise from the Ghana Football Association that only fully fit players will be named in the final 23-man squad for next month’s World Cup finals in South Africa, this will be my starting eleven for our opening game against Serbia on June 13th.

Thus should all be fully fit, this is how many starting eleven will look like.
