Ghana coach Avram Grant insists he is not disappointed with his teams performance in the 2-0 win over Comoros in the 2018 World Cup qualifier on Tuesday.
Goals from Mubarak Wakaso and Jordan Ayew handed the Black Stars the tough win against the spirited lowly-ranked side before an expectant crowd at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
Ghana, parading a relative star-studded side, were expected to secure a more flattering scoreline against Comoros especially as they were playing on a familiar turf in Kumasi.
The game however turned out to be extremely difficult for the Black Stars, leaving some fans disappointed in the performance of the team.
But coach Avram Grant hailed the performance of his players in getting the vita win insisting Comoros, though a lowly-ranked team, were a tough nut to crack.
In a game like this we only needed to qualify, he said.
The game was very tough. I know many people feel the game will be easy but there are no easy games anymore.
Ghana progresses to the final phase of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers where they will be placed on one of five groups of four to fight for a single qualification ticket.
