Former Hearts of Oak coach Herbert Addo says he does not regret joining the Phobians despite admitting the stint was a forgettable one.
“I will never say I regret joining Hearts of Oak not at all I can never say that,” Addo said in an interview.
“I admit things did not go as expected, but that is the way football is sometimes but to say I regret no it’s not true.”
Addo joined Hearts of Oak after leading Tema-based Inter Allies to a 6th place finish in the league and also reaching the MTN FA cup title.
Blessed with a genuine understanding of the game Addo failed to restore the Phobians to their glory days.
Issues of unpaid salaries and internal wrangling were key to his problems at the club.
