The 2008 NPP Campaign Committee congratulates the new World IBF Welterweight champion, Joshua Clottey.
His success over the weekend in far away Las Vegas, Nevada in the United States of America, made all Ghanaians jubilant and proud. By his feat, he joined a select group of Ghanaians who have achieved the ultimate in boxing and brought honour to Ghana.
His feat shows that with innate skill, dedication and hard work, the sky is the limit and we can all go high.
Let us all be inspired by Mr Clottey's achievement to believe, a little more in ourselves, in one another and in Ghana.
May Joshua's reign as champion be long.
