NSA boss assures renovation of Sekondi Sports Stadium

Professor Peter Twumasi, National Sports Authority Director has assured the renovation of Sekondi Essipong Sports Stadium.

The Essipong stadium which is in the deteriorated state amid poor maintenance culture was built ten years ago under former state man John Agyekum Kuffour regime to co-host the CHAN 2008 in Ghana is set to be renovated.

"Essipong stadium would be renovated."I have heard about the state of the venue and I decided to pass through and inspect it myself," he told the media during his tour in the Western region.

"I know the Minister has also gotten reports from it, it will surely be renovated".
