Alex Nyarko has been added to the doubtful category ahead of the weekend's crunch clash with Aston Villa at Goodison Park. Everton's Ghanaian star has not trained for the past 48 hours after picking up a bout of flu and is rated extremely doubtful for the visit of John Gregory's side.
His progress will be monitored by the medical team at Bellefield and a decision will made early on Sunday morning.
If the former Lens man fails to recover in time it could pave the way for a return to the starting line-up for either Scot Gemmill or Stephen Hughes, who have both been used as substitutes in recent weeks
