The national Badminton team, will engage in the 2015 Lagos International Badminton Championship, in Nigeria.
The championship, fixed for July 15-18th, forms part of preparations towards the 2015 All Africa Games (AAG) in Congo, later in the year.
Information gathered from the secretariat of the Badminton Association of Ghana (BAG), indicate that, the event will see eight players making the trip to the West African country.
According to the information, the team will depart on Monday July 13, for the competition with Abraham Aryitey leading the male team with the likes Micheal Sam, Daniel Sam and Emmanuel Donkor.
The female team will comprise Gifty Mensah, Eunice Tetteh, Victoria Asmah and Grace Atipaka.
The team is expected in Ghana on July 19, to continue with their preparations for the Pan African sports festival.
Badminton is one of the 16 disciplines selected by the National Sports Authority (NSA) for the All Africa Games (AAG).
