Organizing committee of the West African Football Union (WAFU) I tournament have confirmed that the Nduom Sports Stadium will simultaneously host final round of matches.

Initial plans suggested that the Essipong stadium will host matches of the tournament with the Cape Coast stadium.

However, I reports reveal the Essipong stadium has been rejected for the Nduom stadium.

"The reason being that the MOYS said they received reports from their structural engineers that the roof and other parts of Essipong possess threat to human life and if we host a tournament being telecast globally it could bring disgrace if something awkward happens." So they decided that all matches should move to Cape Coast."

Ndoum stadium, home grounds for Elmina Sharks will come in as a partial replacement and will only host matches in the last round of group games which are played simultaneously. Spokes person for the GFA Sannie Daara confirmed.

All the other matches will be hosted by Cape Coast sports stadium.
