The new sports minister Dr. Mustapha Ahmed will commence official duties today, Starr Sports can reveal.
The 58-year-old took over from Mahama Ayariga two weeks ago following the Tamale All Stars owner’s reassignment to the Ministry of Environment.
The ex-Minister of State at the Presidency will commence his tenure of office by holding talks with the Ghana FA on the improvement of the Ghana Premier League.
Dr. Ahmed is also expected to support the development of the 36 sports associations in the country to achieve success.
