Finally,Nii Lantey agenda setting against the GFA has come so clear for all to see.
I still doubt if Nii Lantey, was really indeed a sports journalist.How come he don't know he cant use his office to interfere the the kind of matches the football Association wants to play. Doesn't he know the FA is only entity who has the right to organize friendly matches.When did Nii Lantey becomes CAF or FIFA president to sanction matches for the FA.
The minister has crossed the limit and it is about high time somebody calls him to order. Ghana is seriously engaging in world cup qualify and as a minister instead of you to create a conducive atmosphere for our qualification,you are using that high office for your selfish interest with unnecessary litigation.Ghana, is indeed sick if a sports minister doesn't know that,not all friendly matches are played for money.
What information does he want the FA to create out there,that they cant honor South Africa friendly because the minister says they wont get money.
Does the minister knows the possible implication if Ghana goes with this baseless excuse.Nii Lantey, is in fact a shameless character to have said Black stars is a brand and we cant play friendly without money.Who branded the Black stars in the first place-that has now become so attractive that he want to get fame from their brand.The same football Association under Nyantakyi ,has made the Black stars what it is today.
My advice to President Mahama is, if he doesn't remove Nii Lantey from office l bet him,he would lose the election because he has achieved nothing ever since he came to office.
All what he knows is sending goodwill messages around but not performing the task he was assigned to.A minister who has not even touch a single pitch for renovation and even cant purchase a common pad for a female team but awaiting to receive an applause when the team delivers, always has cheap popularity status under his sleeve..His intentions is all about Nyantakyi and his post- he has become routine talkative on radio exposing all the vital meetings to the media.l support the FA for sending him blank budget because he don't have good intentions towards them.l have never seen such a sports minister all my life.
Nigeria sports ministry have been ordered by the country senate to bill out Nigeria football federation from any kind of financial stress ahead of their qualifier against Zambia.Every country is seriously preparing and trying hard to gain qualification to Russia,2018 with cordial relationship from their sports ministry,only Ghana has a vice versa.
The ministry position is not about wearing big suit, if Nii Lantey, lacks enough ideas he should just remove himself from office because if Ghana fails to qualify to world cup only he will bear the responsibility.
He should stop politicizing around our dear national team because the national teams are beyond politics.l am done
