Head coach of Tema Youth Edward Nii Odoom believes he would be a worthy winner of the NASCO Coach of the Month of June, but wouldn't be alarmed should he miss out.
Nii Oddom guided the Harbour City Boys to collect eight points in the month of June, including wins against Great Olympics and league title chasers Aduana Stars to lift the club to 11th on the league standings.
And according to the club’s gaffer, he deserves to be given the accolade per the results they churned out during that month.
“It’s very encouraging and a good achievement that I’ve been nominated for this award and I will be happy if I emerge the ultimate winner,” Nii Odoom told Happy FM.
“Having said that, I will not be bothered if I miss out on it but per the work I’ve put in during that period up until now, I believe I’ll be a deserving winner.”
The veteran coach has to beat off competition from AshantiGold SC’s trainer Charles Akunnor and WAFA head coach Klavs Rasmussen.
