Nippon to present karate medals to Ministry

Accra Nov.24, GNA - Ghana's only active karate club abroad, the Nippon Karate Club International based in New Virginia, United States of America, a sister branch of Nippon Ghana is to present Video CD's containing pictures of medals and trophies the club has won in their last three championships to the Office of the Ghana Karate Association (G.K.A) on Tuesday, 30 November.

According to Mr Frank Ebo Esseku Sagoe, the Public Relations Officer of the Club, the General Secretary of the Club, Mrs Vivian N. Addae would be arriving in Ghana on Friday 26th to make the presentation of the latest trophies and laurels to the G.K.A Secretariat and then hold consultation with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports after which she would address a press conference.


Mr.Sagoe said that other issues such as accreditation for Ghanaian Sports Journalists, who wish to cover some of the Club's World Karate tournaments, Accommodation and Welfare among other issues would be addressed.

The Ghanaian Club has continued to project the image of the art of karate outside the country with its activities and performance and these would be highlighted by the General Secretary on Friday, 26th November 2004.
