Accra, Sept. 18, GNA - The Ghana Tennis Association has rescheduled the Kwame Nkrumah Centenary Celebrations tennis Championship to next week. The Three-day round robin tennis Ladies and Men's Doubles Open tie break tournament is a collaborative initiative between the Association and the Accra Lawn Tennis Club. Mr Emmanuel A. Sagoe, on behalf of the Secretary General of GTA in a press release copied to GNA Sports said the event has been postponed to Thursday, 24 - Saturday, 26th September. He said the postponement is to allow the Ghanaian tennis players participating in the on-going ITF Togo/Benin Circuit Tennis Championship to also participate in the Centenary Celebrations Tennis Championship.
