No Al Hilal medicals - Abeiku Ainooson

Asante Kotoko defender Abeiku Ainooson has dismissed reports he is scheduled to arrive in Sudan on Friday to undergo medical at Al Hilal.

The 25-year-old, according to reports in the North African country is expected to arrive on Friday to complete his move to the Boss.

Rumours of Ainoosons move to Al Hilal has been gathering steam since it first emerged earlier this week.

But Asante Kotoko officials despite admitting they will be interested in a sale are adamant no contact has been made for their central defender.

The former New Edubiase player has now denied fresh reports of his imminent arrival in Sudan to undergo a medical.

I am still in Kumasi, he told GHANAsoccernet.com while laughing off the reports.

Abeiku Ainooson has been a key player for Asante Kotoko since his arrival from New Edubiase in 2013.

He impressed with the silver-winning Ghana squad at the 2014 CHAN tournament but endured a disappointing spell last term as Kotoko lost its Premier League title to AshantiGold.
