No Newcastle approach for Kuffour - Agent

According to tribalfootball, the agent of Bayern Munich defender Sammy Kuffour says Newcastle United are yet to make an official approach for the Ghana international.

It was reported over the weekend that Newcastle had made a formal enquiry after the centre-half, but his agent, Fabio Parisi, told the Evening Chronicle: "I know they are interested in the player and they have told me they are interested but I have to be clear there has been no approach from anyone at the club.

"Not from Graeme Souness, from the chairman, not from anyone."
