Asante Kotoko remain adamant they have not offered a contract to coach Tommy Moller Nielsen for any appointment.
The Danish trainer claims he signed a two-year contract with the dethroned Premier League champions to become their new coach.
Nielsen even went further to reveal his desire to return Kotoko back to its glorious days.
But the club’s management insist they have held no talks lest offer a contract to the Danish coach.
The club insist David Duncan remain their substantive trainer despite recent reports of the appointment of a new coach.
Tommy Moller Nielsen was in Ghana last week on the invitation of one of the major financiers of the club Dr. Kweku Frimpong.
And Kotoko’s Operations Manager George Kennedy says Dr. Frimpong is best placed to explain reports of an offered contract to Tommy Nielsen as management is unaware.
“I think it will be better and accurate if you go to the quarters of Dr. Kweku Frimpong,” he said.
“We as management no nothing about this and have not engaged Tommy Moller in any discussions.
“Naturally you will feel uncomfortable with such developments because Dr. Frimpong used to be in our good books.”
