SPORTS PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR 2013 (One to win)
1. Dr. Kwesi Appiah (As first Ghanaian coach to lead the Ghana Black Stars to the FIFA World Cup 2014 His team scored 16 goals, conceded two. Nine of his players found the net.
2. Juliana Arku (Weight Lifter who won eight Medals at African Championship in Morocco. 6 silver 2 bronze medals)
3. Asamoah Gyan (Footballer who led the Black Stars with the highest goals in World Cup qualifiers and all-time top scorer for Ghana)
FOOTBALLER OF THE YEAR (One to win)
1. Kwadwo Asamoah (ITALY) Exploits for club Juventus and Black Stars
2. Sulley Muntari (ITALY) Exploits for club AC Mian and Black Stars

Patrick Allotey WBC Int. Welterweight Champion - record won 30 fights - 24 Kos, no defeat in 2013. Recently lost his title, and beaten record in Zambia-2014
CYCLIST OF THE YEAR
Samuel Anim Best Cyclist / Sensational / Most Exciting Cyclist 2013
Exploits at Cowbell National Tour and member National Cycling team, representing Ghana at International Tours and excelling as one of best cyclists in Africa.
COACH OF THE YEAR
Dr. James Kwesi Appiah (Black Stars Coach) First African or Ghanaian to coach the senior national team to the World Cup. His team scored the highest number of goals in Africa – 16 goals and conceded two.
ASSOCIATION CHAIRMAN OF THE YEAR
Ben Nunoo – Mensah - National Weightlifting Association (For leading the Black Cranes to win medals at African Championship and building a gym to train weightlifters)
HOCKEY PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Male - Elekem Akaba
Female – Elizabeth Opoku aka “Akiti” (Black Sticks) Top scorer at African Hockey Championship in South Africa
DISCOVERY OF THE YEAR
Clifford Aboagye – (Footballer) 2013 World U 20 Bronze Ball Winner
PROMISING STAR OF THE YEAR
Ebenezer Assifua – (Footballer) 2013 World U 20 Golden Boot Winner
FEMALE CLUB OF THE YEAR
Hasaacas Ladies (2013 Women’s League Champions)
NATIONAL TEAM OF THE YEAR
Black Satellite (National Under 20 Football team)Won Bronze 3rd place at World Youth Championship in Turkey. Produced two players who won FIFA Best player awards-the Goal King-Golden Boot and Third Best Player-Bronze Ball.
TABLE TENNIS PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Derek Abrefa (GIS) (Male) (Best player in male division) won 2 of 3 Opens in the season
Lynda Annor (GIS) (Female) Represented Ghana and won Gold at West African Championship in Benin and the most consistently improving and disciplined player of the season.
WEIGHTLIFTER OF THE YEAR
Juliana Arkoh won eight medals (6) silver medals two (2) bronze medals in the 63-kilo category at African Championship in Morocco.
BADMINTON PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Abraham Ayittey, the best in Ghana, who is currently ranked 619 in the world. He won Gold Medal in the Men’s single event in Morocco at Junior (U-18) Badminton International which in Casablanca, from Thursday 7th to Sunday 10th November, 2013. He also won gold in Botswana (South Africa) in December 2013.
SWIMMER OF THE YEAR
Ophelia Swayne Ghana’s Youth Olympic hopeful, clinched two medals at the Lagos, Nigeria International Swimming Classics. Won gold in the 50m butterfly in 29:73secs and grabbed silver in the 100m butterfly in 1:14.59secs
JUDO PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Emmanuel Nartey - He is the first judo player to represent Ghana at the Olympic Games (2012 London) and competed in the men's 73 kg event. He represented Ghana and achieved a bronze medal in the 73kg at the Judo World Cup at Margarita Island, Venezuela. He is the African Champion in his weight category.
