The Ghana Football Association Normalisation Committee Chairman Dr Kofi Amoah is backing Asante Kotoko to beat Coton Sport on Sunday.
Kotoko will play host to the Cameroonian side in a second leg CAF Confederation Cup game at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Kotoko won the first leg in Garoua by 3-2 and must avoid defeat of a two goal margin to make the money zone or the group stage of the competition.
Dr Amoah has been thrilled with the team's performance so far in Africa and wants the fans to rally behind them to make the next stage.
"Asante Kotoko have done very well and i am happy with their progress so far in Africa, although we have not been playing active football, they have been able to deliver and i want to congratulate them," he said
"Now there is a game coming up on Sunday and i will entreat the fans to troop to the stadium to cheer the team up."
