The Normalization Committee have granted permission to the organizers of the Golden Clash between Ashantigold Sporting Club and Asante Kotoko to come off on Sunday.
The second leg of the clash will be played at the Obuasi Len Clay Park after the Normalization Committee gave green light for it to come on.
Ashantigold SC will be aiming at avenging their first round 3:2 defeat to Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium which Sogne Yacouba struck twice for the Porcupines.
The two agreed on a postponement of the second leg due to the resignation of Paa Kwesi Fabian from Asante Kotoko as their head coach. The decision then pushed the return encounter to a fortnight and with the formation of the normalization committee, the organizers duly wrote for the consent of the Normalization Committee.
“We refer to your letter dated September 18, 2018, contents of which are well noted.
The Normalization Committee is pleased to inform you that, permission has been granted Ashantigold SC and Asante Kotoko SC to honor this match on Sunday, 23rd September 2018 at the Len Clay Stadium.
We wish to convey our well wishes to the two clubs” the release stated.
Ashgold will be hoping to redeem their image after losing the first by 3-2
