Norwegian First Division side, Sogndal Fotball, have officially confirmed the acquisition of Ghanaian defender Jamal Deen Haruna from Raufoss IL.
The former Accra Great Olympics centre-back has penned a three-year deal with the Yellow and Black lads, extending until the summer of 2027.
However, Haruna will continue to play for Raufoss on loan until the end of 2024, marking his second stint with the side.
During his initial season, Haruna made 27 appearances and is eager to further contribute to the team's success.
His career trajectory includes stints with Tudu Mighty Jets, Wa All Stars (now Legon Cities), and Accra Great Olympics before departing Ghana in 2023.
Sogndal Fotball expressed their delight at securing the services of the Ghanaian defender, highlighting his physical prowess and natural authority as a centre-back.
The club's management sees Haruna's signing as a significant step in bolstering their defensive capabilities for the upcoming seasons.
Jamaldeen has so much experience under his belt to become an important player for Sogndal when he joins them next season.
