Nsoatre, (B/A) Nov. 14, GNA - Two beautiful strikes by goal-poacher Mohammed Ali powered Nsoatreman Football Club to a 2-0 victory over visiting Berekum Cheelsy F/C in the Northern sector Zonal First Division Football league match at Nsoatre.

The result of the match, which formed part of the Zone's second round pairings was a sweet revenge for the home side who lost 0-1 to the Berekum Club in their first round encounter.

In another league match played at Techiman, visiting Nkwaeso Nananom F/C shocked local Roving Rovers when they pipped them 1-0. Meanwhile, Rovers have protested against Nananom for fielding an unqualified player in the person of Abdul Mohammed. Rovers' petition dated November 14, this year and signed by Mr. Suraj Musah the team manager, alleged that Mohammed had been their player and even played for them during last year's Division Two League. The petition claimed that Nananom failed to negotiate for the release of Mohammed's Card "A", which, it added was still with them (Rovers).

Rovers have consequently entreated the Disciplinary Committee of the Brong-Ahafo Regional Football Association to award them the three maximum points.

Mr. Musah later told the GNA Sports in Sunyani that his Club had paid the protest fee of 200,000 cedis and are awaiting favourable response.

Mr. Kwabena Munufie, Secretary of the Regional F.A. confirmed the acknowledgement of the protest note together with the fee.
