Former Division One League Board chairman,Lawyer Kwame Ntow Fianko has questioned the integrity of the Normalization Committee and the vetting committee for rejecting Winfred Osei Palmer's appeal when the appeal committee has not even been set up.
Last week, the GFA Normalisation Committee disqualified Palmer from the presidential race for breaching Article 33 (5) (c) of the GFA regulations which relates to player transfers which he appealed against on Monday, October 7, 2019 which the NC rejected elections on grounds that it was filed at a time later than the window permitted .
According to the campaign manager of GFA Presidential candidate George Kwesi Afriyie, the vetting committee wouldn't have gotten things easy from him if it was his candidate who was going through this trauma at the hands of the NC.
''What's sort of attitude is this. Why do you reject someone's appeal when members of the appeal committee have not even been named. They are lucky this is not happening to George Afriyie because they wouldn't have loved what i will say to them''
''Do you(NC) think we are in the animal kingdom for you to take such a decision. There should be a panel to sit on the case before such a decision can be taken,''Ntow Fianko said on the Kumasi based Nhyira FM.
