Hearts of Oak defender Nuru Sulley has sealed a three-year deal with Libyan side Al Nasr after passing his medicals, Goal Ghana can confirm.
Sulley has been a target of the Benghazi-based club when he was featuring for the local Black Stars in the 2014 CHAN tournament in South Africa.
The purported transfer fee is said to be in the region of $130,000.
Sulley has said he owes his current form to ex-Hearts of Oak coach David Duncan.
“I thank Hearts management, the fans and the board for giving me the platform in launching my career, but I strongly owe my future to coach David Duncan for fighting for a place for me in the local Black Stars team and I thank him for having a spirited trust in my abilities,” Sulley told Goal.
Sulley joined the Phobians from Mighty Jet in the 2012-13 season and acted as the captain when the club’s substantive leader Moro Abubakar got injured.
He is expected to join his new club for pre-season in the first week of August.
