Although the Phobians have faced relegation in the Ghana Premier League in the last two seasons, Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe has reassured supporters that a significant turnaround is on the horizon.
"I can assure you that within the next five years, you will not believe (the improvement), the standard of football alone at Hearts of Oak and its performances within and outside Africa will shock a lot of people. It is a long-term project and I will tell the supporters that we are building something they will one day be proud of," he said on JoySports.
Hearts of Oak who are one of Ghana’s most prestigious clubs had to wait till the final day of the season to escape relegation.
