Nyanatakyi is not rich

Chief Executive Officer of Wa All Stars Mr.Oduro Nyarko believes that Kwasi Nyantakyi who is also the owner of premier league side Wa All Stars is a very strong proponent of grassroots football.

“You know for us we are a team that does not buy players. We don’t even have the money to buy such players. What we do is that we normally open for new young players to come for brief trials and we select few good ones to beef up our already existing squad.” Oduro Nyarko said in an interview.

“Every club has got a policy and ours is youth system. We don’t buy players. Even Mr.Nyantakyi does not have the money to buy those big name players. He(Mr.Nyantakyi) has told us to use the scout for the young and energetic players. I am always surprised when people say Nyantakyi does not pay attention to youth football. He really supports youth football and that is why he has adopted this youth policy at Wa All Stars.”
