Nyantakyi certain of AFCON victory

President of Ghana Football Association (GFA) Kwesi Nyantakyi has said the time to win the African Cup of Nation (AFCON) trophy is now.

Mr. Nyantakyi thinks despite the Blacks Stars poor performance in recent times the team has the ability to win the trophy in Gabon.

“Our objective in 2017 AFCON in to win, I have said that Nigeria won in 2013 Ivory Coast won in 2015 its time for Ghana to win because we are the three supper weight in West Africa,” he said.

“And we need to examine our team what we can do to enhance the quality of the team from technical side playing body and management so that we can present a solid team to the tournament,” Mr Nyantakyi said.
