Ghana Football Association president Kwesi Nyantakyi was in the stands to watch Ghana ace Sulley Muntari play for his side Al Ittihad in a league match against Al Faisaly on Saturday.
Nyantakyi was a guest of Al Faisaly who hosted his Ghana Premier League side Wa All Stars on pre-season training.
Muntari lasted the entire duration as Ittihad beat Al Faisaly 3-1 on the road.
But Nyantakyi did not meet the suspended Ghana international who is yet to apologize for his violent behaviour at the 2014 World Cup.
“I can confirm that Mr. Nyantakyi was at the stadium to watch the match but he didn’t meet with Sulley (Muntari) because the weather was cold and he needed to go inside,” an Al Faisaly source told GHANASoccernet.com.
