Super welterweight Obodai Sai (26-2, 19 KO’s) has confirmed to Bukomboxingnews.com that he’ll fight in Spain on February 5th. An opponent has yet to be announced.
Sai scored a third round stoppage over Gabriel Adoku last December on the Braimah “Bukom Banku” Kamoko – Michael Ayitey “Powers” rematch card at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
The former Ghana national champion hopes to win a title within a year and plans to continue that quest with this upcoming bout in Spain.
“I can confirm that I will be fighting in Spain on the 5th February, 2016,” Sai confirmed to Bukomboxingnews.com.
“The name of my opponent is yet to be released but that doesn’t stop me from training. What I have been told is my opponent will be Spanish and I’m well prepared for him.
“2016 is a year that I’m aiming for a world title and I’m going to start that journey in Spain come next month and I promise Ghanaians I will fulfill that promise,” he added.
