Former Ghana international Anthony Obodai has opened negotiations with Major League Side Phoenix FC for a possible move.
Obodai, 30, who played for Cypriot side Magusa Turk Gucu is seeking another adventure with an MLS side after playing for Houston Dynamo in 2010.
“I am in talks with Phoenix FC and hopefully a deal will be reached very soon,” Obodai is quoted by Goal.com.
“I am very much sure about that. The Cyprus league is cool and I am okay with it but as a player you definitely have to seek new challenges,” he added.
The former Liberty Professionals man has previously played for Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam.
