Ghana’s Anthony Obodai will be switching club next year to join Pittsburgh Riverhounds also in the American USL PRO league.
Goal Ghana can exclusively reveal that talks between his current club Phoenix FC and the Hounds have been completed for the former Ghana Under-17 kingpin to switch camp.
Obodai spent most of his professional years in Holland at Ajax, RKC Waalwijk, and Sparta Rotterdam. He was very influential as a defensive midfield destroyer.
Obodai is currently in Ghana and will return to the US in early 2014. The Ghanaian midfield kingpin joined Phoenix FC in February playing 24 games for them in the just ended season.
