Ochiso Etwe Ewuruku win

Ajumako Ochiso (C/R) Dec. 13, GNA- Ajumako Ochiso Etwe Ewuruku F/C played a highly determined game to beat Zone Three League leaders, Gomoaman Darhling 3-0 in the Central Region Division Two League match at Ochiso at the weekend. Etwe Ewuruku took control of the game right from kick off and went ahead to score two goals through midfielder, Agudu Awalu and substitute, Dauda Ibrahim in the first half.

The League leaders returned the attack on resumption of the second half, but their attempts of finding the net were dashed when Agudu Awalu, who excelled in the match increased his side's tally to 3-0 in the 75th minute against the run of play. Result of other matches were, Ahofra Royals drew goalless with Denkyira United, Santos F/C spanked Real Madrid 5-1, Benburto F/C beat Young Etsi Stars 3-1, Obonoma F/C trounced AAK United 3-0, Parmajet F/C 2 Proud United 1, Kaakyire Stars beat Super Sports 2-1 and Bastia F/C pipped C.K. Gyamfi Academy 1-0.

In another development, staff of Foso Teacher Training College drew 2-2 with the staff of Obiri Yeboa Secondary School in a special soccer match played at Foso to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of Foso Training College. It was the staff of Obiri Yeboa who who had the upper hand in the first when their centre half John Enninfue scored the opener through a spot kick in the 20th minute and increased the tally through a free kick to bring the half time score to 2-0 in their favour.

On resumption of the second half, they nearly increased the tally to 3-0 in the 55th minute but Enninfue's powerful shot sailed over the bar. The training college staff gradually warmed themselves into the game in an effort to avoid humiliation and took control of the game and it came as no surprise when they pulled back a goal in the 68th minute through their midfielder, Chris Korankye. They continued to dictate the pace of the game and Korankye who played a yeoman's game scored the much-needed equaliser in the 75th minute to bring back the smiles on the faces of the teachers.
